In order to pro­vide a quick solu­tion in such cas­es, BU Pow­er Sys­tems offers you a per­ma­nent avail­abil­i­ty of over 200 Perkins exchange engines.
To main­tain our high qual­i­ty stan­dards, all exchange engines as well as long engines are thor­ough­ly test­ed on our engine test bench before deliv­ery. Sub­se­quent­ly, the repaired engines are paint­ed and equipped with the BU Pow­er Sys­tems engine ser­vice pass­port (ser­vice booklet).

Long engines of the 100 / 400 series

As a cost-effec­tive alter­na­tive to a com­plete exchange engine, Long engines are built by Perkins to pro­vide our cus­tomers with flex­i­bil­i­ty and added val­ue. The long engines are equipped with a new injec­tion sys­tem (injec­tion pump and injec­tion noz­zles) and, if nec­es­sary, tur­bo charg­er. You sim­ply mount the attach­ments of your pre­vi­ous engine to the Perkins Long engine and get your machine up and run­ning again in no time. You also ben­e­fit from com­pre­hen­sive war­ranties and com­pli­ance with emis­sions standards.
